The Dragons Den

I was so thrilled (and a little nervous) to be asked by my good friend, Yvonne Brady of EVB Sport to join a panel of 'Dragons' as part of the Scoil Aonghusa Dragons Den Enterprise Competition.

Talk about being blown away not just by the business ideas that were being presented but by the standard of each presentation. They were incredible!!! Five groups from the sixth class had the unenviable task of stepping into the 'Den'. But it seems there were no nerves on day, just great excitement and enthusiasm to tell us their ideas.

They left no stone unturned as they talked me through their profit margins, financial strategies, marketing activities and team development!! (All their terms by the way).

There had to be an eventual winner on the day and I wish the team at 'Blissful Bath Bombs' all the success they deserve as they put their idea into action. To quote their Marketing Manager - 'Have a Blissful day'......
