Throw back to Farm Safety Week 2024 when the kids took over!

This Farm Safety Week had something for everyone except with one small tweak! We put the kids in charge! 'I Feel Safe & Happy when.....' Junior Photographer and Videographer Competition

Calling all budding photographers and videographers under 13 years!! Supported by our friends in Flogas, we are looking for those images and moments that make you, our AgriKids, feel safe, happy and energised whether you are out and about at home, on your farm or in the countryside.

Since 2020 Flogas has been the energy behind AgriKids, helping us to provide farm safety education in primary schools throughout the Island of Ireland.  So that got us thinking. If Flogas makes us feel safe, happy (and energised) about the work we do, who or what makes you feel the same way?

That is why, with the help of parents or guardians, if needed, we want you to take a photo or make a video that shows us the things or people that make you feel your safest and happiest!!

Maybe it's your family or your pet. Is it something about life on the farm, the animals or where you live.  Is it the community you live in, the scenery around you. Or maybe it is something that is special to you that you would like to share.

How to get involved:

Take a picture or shoot a video (60secs), and include a written piece of no more than 100 words starting with - 'I feel safe and happy when.........'.

Send your entry to: info@agrikids.ie (using the heading 'Flogas - I Feel Safe & Happy'), before or on August 25th 2024.

Parents and guardians, do let us know if we may share the entry on social media and for promotional purposes (include details we can share: Full name, age & location).

The Prize

We have three family day passes to give away so you can spend time with your family, which we hope will make you feel safe and happy, (see what we did there!!).

Closing date:

August 25th 2024. Winners will be notified and announced after September 15th 2024.

But when Tom climbs into the tractor, he quickly gets into a very sticky situation. With so many buttons and levers, he doesn’t know which one to push first! Once again Mr Brambles must come to the rescue. But is his magic strong enough to stop a runaway tractor?
